The Role

We're looking for a skilled and motivated AV Installation & Service Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role involving installation, maintenance, and servicing of AV systems at client sites and CPS premises. You'll also support customers and colleagues in resolving technical and logistical challenges.

You'll receive in-house technical training from our experienced engineers, enabling you to confidently deliver high-quality installations and provide ongoing support to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain AV systems and associated cabling at client sites.
• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and PAT testing.
• Provide technical support to customers and staff.
• Communicate with clients and suppliers regarding service items.
• Ensure all work meets the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Working Conditions

• Based at CPS' main office with regular travel to client sites.
• Occasional evening and weekend work required.
• Some projects may involve overnight stays away from the local area.

What We're Looking For

• Essential:
• Basic electrical knowledge and technical aptitude.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and professional presentation.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport.
• Literacy and computing skills.
• Desirable:
• Electronics or electrical qualifications.
• Experience with cable installation, soldering, and hardware construction.
• Knowledge of the events and leisure industry.
• DIY or practical skills.
