Morson are recruiting Planning Engineers to work on an initial 12 month contract with BAE Systems in Barrow-In-Furness. The rate is £40/hour on a PAYE basis (+5.80/hour holiday pay) or £53.90/horr Umbrella. Candidates must be ok to work 2 days on site in Barrow every 2 weeks, this is not a remote role.

The role involves but is not limited to the following:

  • Develop, baseline, progress, and maintain the Level 3 design phase schedule
  • Input progress, actuals, and forecast dates into P6
  • Follow Governance around change control
  • Conducting L3 schedule health checks
  • Supporting the IDT (Integrated Delivery Team)
  • Impact assessing and implementing L3 schedule change requests
  • Liaising with stakeholders from IDT
  • Leading L3 plan reviews
  • Guidance to less experienced team members
  • Able to analyse data
  • Comfortable with challenging issues
