Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Part-Time Site Inspector and Administrative Assistant to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of construction processes, client interactions, and site inspections. This role involves visiting construction sites to gather essential information, assist in project quoting, and provide administrative support to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Inspections: Conduct thorough site inspections to assess conditions, gather data, and provide detailed reports.
  • Client Interaction: Effectively communicate with clients on-site to answer technical questions and address concerns related to construction projects.
  • Measurement and Assessment: Take precise measurements and collect necessary information to assist in project quoting and planning.
  • Administrative Support: Assist in various administrative tasks, including documentation, scheduling, and coordination of remote employees.
  • Project Assistance: Support the management team in various capacities, contributing to the smooth execution of construction projects.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise on-site or in administrative functions, ensuring efficient operations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Prior experience in the construction industry is preferred, with a strong understanding of construction processes and terminology.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in construction measurements, site assessment, and the ability to answer technical questions confidently.
  • Administrative Skills: Strong organizational and administrative skills, with experience in assisting management and coordinating tasks.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work, from site inspections to administrative duties.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to various tasks and responsibilities as needed, with a proactive and collaborative approach.

Additional Information:

  • Working Hours: This is a part-time position with flexible working hours.
  • Travel: Regular travel to construction sites is required.
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications.
