Forward Deployed Engineer at STRATOS

We're looking for a passionate Forward Deployed Data Engineer to join our team at STRATOS – someone eager to sit at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and real-world impact.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with industry leaders to embed our platform deep into their operations – transforming strategic intent into live systems that drive measurable results. In today's world, where the last mile of implementation creates the competitive moat, you'll be the catalyst turning software into scale.

• Solve our customers' hardest business challenges by adapting and deploying the STRATOS platform to their needs
• Design and implement scalable generative AI workflows using platforms like Palantir AIP
• Execute complex data integration using PySpark and other distributed technologies
• Collaborate directly with clients to understand context, priorities, and key outcome

• Minimum 2-4 years of solid experience in data engineering or analytics.
• Experience at start-up companies and/or an excitement to experience first-hand the adventure that comes with a fast-scaling tech company, alternatively experience at a top-tier consultancy.
• The ability to translate complex and sometimes ambiguous business requirements into clean and maintainable data pipelines
• Excellent knowledge of PySpark, Python and SQL fundamentals
• The ability to get to grips with new technologies quickly

What's Nice to Have**

• Experience in dashboarding tools, Typescript and API development
• Familiarity with Airflow, DBT, Databricks
• Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (e.g. Oracle, SAP) and CRM systems
