Engineering Project Engineer

Newtownards
Salary up to £45,000

An excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer to join a leading machinery manufacturer. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing the technical delivery and coordination of engineering projects from concept through to commissioning.

The Role:

Manage and deliver multiple projects within agreed time, cost, and quality targetsLiaise with customers to define specifications and project requirementsDesign and develop both mechanical and electrical systemsPrepare and review technical documentation, drawings, and schematicsOversee assembly, installation, and commissioning of machinery and automation systemsProvide technical support and troubleshooting for machinery Ensure all work complies with relevant safety and regulatory standards

The Person:

HNC/HND (or higher) in either Mechanical or Mechatronics EngineeringStrong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in maintenance or engineering rolesGood understanding of mechanical and electrical systems integrationExcellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills
