62 Bed Care Home situated in the Lincolnshire coastal town of Mablethorpe in the county of Lincolnshire. The Home will offer Day, Respite, Residential and Dementia Care in a state-of-the-art new purpose built home.

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our New Care Home in Mablethorpe, you will be required to support the Chef in preparation of meals and cleanliness of the kitchen. All our meals are made from fresh seasonal produce.

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

  • Sociable flexible working hours, working alternate weekends
  • Assisting in the preparation and serving of meals.

Required knowledge & experience:

  • Health & safety procedures including control of substances harmful to health (COSHH) and food safety standards.

Required skills:

  • Able to negotiate, influence, organize time and prioritise activities.
  • Able to assist in a pressured environment and help produce meals alongside the Chef based on implemented menus.
  • Flexible, innovative and able to work as part of a team and individually.
  • Basic computer knowledge

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.21 per hour
