Are you a qualified accountant with a passion for modelling large-scale investment cases? We're looking for a Senior Financial Modeller to join Royal Mail's Operations Strategy and Design team. This is a pivotal role supporting the most significant network investment in Royal Mail's history, impacting operations across the UK.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Future Network Strategy, you'll lead the development and management of business case models for the Network Strategy Programme. You'll coordinate inputs, ensure modelling integrity, and provide financial insight to support executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-level business case models for programme and project-level investment decisions
• Coordinate stakeholder inputs and ensure modelling aligns with business standards
• Present financial models and insights to senior stakeholders
• Provide challenge and assurance on inputs from other teams
• Lead and support a direct report, fostering development and capability
• Contribute to programme delivery, risk management, and strategic alignment

About You

You're a detail-oriented and commercially astute finance professional with strong modelling skills and the ability to influence at senior levels. You thrive in complex, fast-paced environments and are passionate about enabling transformation through data-driven insight.

What You'll Bring:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
• Significant experience building financial models for large-scale investments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Understanding of logistics operations and transformation planning
• Ability to manage multiple project strands and influence across functions
