Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our restaurant, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional service. Your role will involve assisting in various areas, including guest services and food preparation, while contributing to a positive dining experience.

Duties

  • Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate.
  • Assist in food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of culinary presentation.
  • Manage the dining area to ensure cleanliness and organisation throughout service periods.
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, striving to provide excellent hospitality.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and maintain smooth operations.
  • Perform basic maths for processing payments and managing transactions effectively.
  • Support team members in various tasks as required to enhance overall service delivery.

Skills

  • Strong guest services skills with a passion for hospitality.
  • Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
  • Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience.
  • A friendly disposition with a willingness to help others, contributing positively to team dynamics.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
