Key Responsibilities will include:

· Working with external certification bodies to achieve product certification:

o Electrical Safety;

o Functional Safety;

o Lift and shipping.

· Working closely with the Innovation development team on matters relating to certification:

o Innovation – safety within the circuit;

o Work closely with component approvals;

o Validation – assist with certification tests;

§ All aspects lab tests (internal, witness and external).

· To support the technical sales team with questions relating to certification & conformance;

· Be proactive with Technical Support to ensure product specifications are correct & achievable with respect to standards in particular;

· Be proactive in keeping up to date with relevant product standards & regulatory changes which will affect the business;

· Reviewing and preparing Declarations of Conformance and similar certification documentation.

Essential Requirements:

· A good understanding of Electrical and Electronics Engineering;

· Good communication and teamworking skills;

· Willingness to travel to test houses (Domestic and Foreign);

· Methodical and logical way of working.

Advantage to have:

· Background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with experience and knowledge of AC variable speed drives.

· Previous experience working with certification bodies and product standards.
