Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Chiropractor or Osteopath to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As a Hands on therapist, you will assess and treat patients with musculoskeletal issues, employing various techniques to alleviate pain and improve mobility. Your role will be crucial in helping patients achieve optimal health and wellness through chiropractic adjustments and therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients to assess their physical condition and identify issues related to the spine and musculoskeletal system.
- Develop tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs, incorporating chiropractic/osteopathic adjustments, therapeutic exercises, and lifestyle recommendations.
- Perform spinal manipulations and other manual therapies to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing.
- Educate patients on the importance of maintaining proper posture, ergonomics, and overall health practices to prevent future injuries.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment progress and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as necessary to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in chiropractic care and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Chiropractic/Osteopath degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid licence in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Compassionate and patient-centred approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
