As we continue to grow outside of our London base then we are looking to recruit talented and dedicated professionals to join our growing team. Specifically, we are looking to bring on board an experienced ESOL/Functional Skills Tutors in both West Yorkshire and North of Tyne regions.

About the role:

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality ESOL and Functional Skills sessions within a classroom environment
  • Deliver Digital Skills/IT training to learners at varying levels
  • Able to design, deliver and assess training at varying learner levels
  • Track and record learner progress
  • Mark learners work and provide feedback
  • Motivate, Support and inspire learners to develop their skills
  • Work in a creative manner to overcome individual learner barriers

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant teaching qualifications (ESOL, Functional Skills, or Digital Skills/IT)
  • One years teaching experience
  • Self motivated and able to manage time appropriately
  • Be able to provide two references
  • An enhanced DBS

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Competency in delivering Digital Skills/IT content
  • Experience working with diverse learner groups, including adult learners, ESOL learners, and those returning to education

Working Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Willingness to travel within West Yorkshire (specifically Leeds, Wakefield and Kirklees)
