Handyman / Maintenance Operative Required for a Residential Care Home.

Full time

We are looking for a versatile Maintenance Operative to assist with the day to day upkeep of our Care Home.

The right candidate would have experience either professionally or personally in maintaining properties.

They would be comfortable with the following aspects of the role:

Responsible for general upkeep of the Home

Responsible for General upkeep of the gardens

Maintenance, and repair, of fixtures and fittings

Experience with basic plumbing and electrical work

Painting and decorating work

Carrying out health and safety checks and recording these accurately

The ideal candidate will be able to manage their time well and would have broad experience in many aspects of maintaining properties. They will be able to integrate well and work as part of the team. Must have a full clean driving licence and be able to provide references and undertake a DBS check. Previous experience of working within a care/nursing home would be an advantage

Hours of Work: Full time: Access to company pension scheme with employer contributions of 3% for eligible employees.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00 per hour
