Description

The Junior Purchasing Coordinator will provide professional and efficient administration support to the Operations/Purchasing department, as well as playing a key role in support of the company.

Main Duties

Load client orders into database system (Sage 200)

Generate and submit purchase orders

Accurately fulfil project sales orders in line with receipt of goods

Manage project order process and liaise with Project managers requests

Liaise with sales team in relation to lead times

Expedite purchase orders to ensure project deadlines are met, communicating any issues to Project Managers

Check BoM's with sales team for any errors

Track Project Finances via variation tracking through the lifecycle of a project

Manage Customer / Supplier Returns

Answer inbound supplier/customer telephone queries

General administration as and when required by the team

Requirements

Essential:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Ability to use own initiative and manage own workload
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills

Desirable:

  • Team player with an enthusiastic attitude
  • Willingness to learn

Salary- £26,000 to £27,000 (dependant on experience)
