As a
Field Service Engineer – High Pressure Processing (HPP)
, you will play a key role in supporting the installation, commissioning, and field service of advanced food processing systems used by leading manufacturers worldwide. You'll use your technical expertise across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality service for our customers, while representing JBT Marel with professionalism and care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Install, commission, and service High Pressure Processing (HPP) equipment at customer sites worldwide
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair systems, including mechanical, hydraulic (up to 3,000 psi), and ultra-high-pressure systems (up to 120,000 psi)
• Carry out electrical service work on systems ranging from 24VDC to 480VAC
• Follow all JBT and customer safety requirements, working to the highest safety and quality standards
• Build strong relationships with customers while representing JBT Marel professionally
• Document service activities and feedback to support ongoing product and process improvements
• Perform other duties as required to support the success of the service team

About You
You are a skilled and versatile engineer with experience servicing complex capital equipment. You bring a proactive mindset, mechanical and electrical expertise, and a willingness to travel extensively to deliver exceptional service for our customers.

You'll Bring

• An Associate degree (AAS) or equivalent education/technical work experience
• Experience with capital equipment; HPP or food processing machinery experience is a plus
• Strong skills in reading and interpreting hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical prints and BOMs
• Experience with torque wrenches, precision measurement tools, wiring of PLC systems, and 3-phase power
• Comfort working with overhead cranes, forklifts, and scissor lifts
• Experience with ultra-high-pressure or water jet cutting systems (advantageous)
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with customers
• Computer literacy (basic data entry)
• Valid driver's license and passport, with willingness to travel up to 80% (domestic and international)
