We are now recruiting for the exciting role of Project Document Expeditor, to be involved in the compliance for game changing technology within the nuclear industry.

This role will work with Quality Assurance, Supply Chain and the wider business to ensure deliverables and documentation is controlled and received in line with project timeframes. This role is crucial in ensuring that Rolls-Royce SMR transition into a project and delivery organisation.

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Management of multiple Supply Chain commodity contracts.
  • Responsible for management of Deliverables following Information Management Plans (IMPs).
  • Monitor and progress chase Supply Chain Deliverables with Suppliers.
  • Monitor and progress chase Supply Chain Deliverables internally.
  • Perform comprehensive quality checks of document Deliverables and any associated documents, including the checking of Metadata.
  • Upload Deliverables into the appropriate Document Management System ensuring all fields are filled in correctly following the IMP and content of the document.
  • Send the Deliverables for technical review where required (including ITPIA where required).
  • Communicate review outcomes back to the Supply Chain when review of Deliverables are completed by technical experts.
  • Communicate with relevant internal teams where required for Deliverable related queries. Communicate progress (KPIs) of the deliverables with Suppliers.

  • Ensure the Supplier Deliverable Register is kept up to date in order to track Deliverable progress.
  • Management of the Supplier Information Exchange tool.
  • Ensure all Security, Access rights and Export Control requirements are followed when sending, receiving and storing Deliverables.
  • Attach cover sheets to documents where required.

Pay And Benefits
We anticipate paying a salary of between £28,800 - £38,000 DOE plus:-

  • Bonus - On Target Performance Opportunity 7%
  • Benefits Allowance – £2,200 per annum, enabling you to create a bespoke package
  • Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions.
  • Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days.
  • Private Medical Insurance - BUPA single cover health care
  • Life Assurance - 6x pensionable pay
  • £250 - One-off payment for new starters for home office purchases
