The role: FAC Casualty Broker
- We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual to join our APAC Reinsurance team.
- The candidate will be based in London (City) and concentrate mainly on Casualty clients
- As a Reinsurance Broker you will need to be able to maintain strong client and reinsurer relationships for a large portfolio of assigned accounts in order to ensure the appropriate level of service to all clients.
- You will also in time develop or help to develop new business with the help from the senior leadership team and your fellow senior brokers/producers.
- Researching, drafting reports, maintaining good records, and marketing specialty lines particularly within Casualty.
- Maintain, process and manage an existing book of APAC clients
- Marketing complex reinsurance business to carriers, on behalf of the existing portfolio
- Developing and maintaining a network of carriers and/or broker relationships.
- Identifies and analyzes client exposures to recommend and/or design risk solutions.
- Identifies appropriate carriers, sends requests, negotiates favorable reinsurance quotes and prepares recommendations for the client.
- Revenue generating responsibility.
- Experience and judgment used to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
- Casualty Reinsurance client facing experience required, either from a broker of carrier background
- Roughly two-year experience
- Ideally from a reinsurance facultative background within Casualty
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and forward thinker
- Able to work of their own initiative and resourceful
- UK right to work
