The Feathers is a beautifully restored luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Woodstock, Oxfordshire, just moments from Blenheim Palace. Following a multi-million-pound refurbishment, the hotel now features stunning dining spaces including The Nest restaurant, the Aviary indoor–outdoor terrace, and our elegant bar, an inviting, refined space perfect for morning coffees, afternoon tea, pre-dinner cocktails, and relaxed evening drinks.

Home to a curated wine list, premium spirits, expertly crafted cocktails, and artisanal coffees, our bar is a guest favourite for its warm atmosphere and exceptional service.

The Role

We're looking for an engaging, skilled Bartender to join our fantastic Food & Beverage team. You'll work with beautiful wines, high-end premium spirits, and fresh, seasonal ingredients to craft exceptional cocktails, mixed drinks, and coffees.

This is a hands-on role in the heart of our operation, perfect for someone who thrives in a luxury environment, loves creating memorable guest moments, and takes real pride in quality.

With the Christmas season approaching, it's an exciting time to join us and be part of the festive buzz.

This is a casual contract, with 20–30 hours per week typically available at peak times. You will need to be available to work evenings, weekends, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft beautiful cocktails, mixed drinks, and artisanal coffees with precision and consistency.
• Provide warm, genuine hospitality at the bar and within our lounge spaces.
• Share knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails with guests in an approachable, confident way.
• Maintain an immaculate bar area, ensuring stock, cleanliness, and presentation are at luxury-hotel standards.
• Support the wider F&B team during service, including afternoon tea and pre-dinner drinks.
• Ensure all beverages are delivered to the highest standard, aligned with The Feathers' refined service style.

What We're Looking For

• Previous bartending experience in a quality or luxury setting is preferred.
• Passion for cocktails, premium spirits, and brilliant guest service.
• Confident, positive, and great with people.
• Strong attention to detail in both service and presentation.
• Happy working as part of a small, friendly, high-performing team.
• Availability for weekends, evenings, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve.

What We Offer

• £13.80–£14.61 per hour (including service charge)
• (£12.00 base rate for under 21s / £12.81 base rate for 21+. Approx. £1.80 per hour service charge. Average service charge correct as of Nov 2025 using past 6 months data)
