Protecting critical infrastructure through cyber resilience

As our Cyber Operational Technology Analyst, you'll help safeguard the systems that keep Cadent's gas network running securely and efficiently.

You'll be working across departments to strengthen our operational technology (OT) environment. You'll support the delivery of Cadent's OT cyber strategy, lead assurance activities, and provide expert guidance to manage cyber risks in line with regulatory and industry standards.

You'll collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and national agencies to ensure Cadent's OT systems are secure, resilient, and aligned with best practice. It's a fantastic opportunity to apply your cyber knowledge in a critical infrastructure setting.

  • Risk Management – Identify and manage cyber risks across IT and OT networks.

What you'll bring:

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent experience in information security or operational technologies, or related discipline
  • Industry certifications (examples include CISMP, CISA, CISM, GCIP, ICSP, SEC+/Net+, ISA62443 etc)
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to the gas and wider energy sector
  • Working knowledge of other common IS frameworks (ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, Cyber Assessment Framework) and how they apply to the energy sector.
  • Broad knowledge of OT, threats and risks and how to manage them within an operational context.

Practical Experience

  • Exposure to change projects and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to form and maintain working relationships.
  • Effective communication and organisation.
  • Self-motivated and able to deliver objectives in support of projects as part of a wider strategy or team.
  • Experience of assurance methods and remediation.
