JOB TITLE: Community Support Worker - MiCare

Contract: Permanent & Casual

Hours: Various Part Time hours available 

Salary: £ £13.05 per hour

Community Support Services - MiCare, is a short-term integrated health and social care service that provides short term support to people in their own homes. We put people at the heart of the service and deliver exceptionally responsive, person-centred care which enables the individuals to live a life of their choosing. About the role…

As a MiCare Support Worker you:

  • Provide support to adults to develop and maintain activities of daily living, including personal care. 
  • Support people to undertake a range of social care tasks such as washing, dressing/undressing, showering, and bathing, meal preparation, domestic activities and engaging in community activities.
  • Undertake a range of delegated health care tasks as required such as prompt prescribed medication, supporting the application of prescribed creams, eye and ear drops, catheter care and prompting exercise as prescribed by the physiotherapist.

It is essential that you have a full UK driving license and access to a car to enable you to work in this role. 

Basic pay of £ £13.05 per hour, Saturdays at £ £19.59 per hour, Sundays and bank holidays at £ £26.11 per hour. 

Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, however, if you have the passion and commitment to help and support others then we can offer you a comprehensive induction and a tailored training plan, with support to undertake the QCF Diploma and Level 2 Health and Social Care qualifications fully funded by us

The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.

The Community Support Worker interviews will be held in December 2025/Jan 2026. Exact dates to be confirmed. Please be advised this could be subject to change, in which case we will give appropriate notice.
