Head of Payments

At Noda we're building seamless Open Banking solutions that make payments smarter, faster, and safer. We're now looking for a Head of Payments to join our team and help drive the next wave of fintech innovation.

Your mission:

• Defining and executing the company's overall payments strategy in alignment with business objectives;
• Managing and optimising international payment processes, including multi-currency transactions, settlements, and reconciliations;
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, including AML, KYC, PSD2, and other applicable frameworks;
• Identifying and implementing opportunities to streamline payment workflows and improve efficiency across all channels;
• Leading, mentoring, and growing a team of payment specialists, fostering a culture of ownership and operational excellence;
• Overseeing the deployment and maintenance of payment software, integrations, and connections with banks, PSPs, and fintech partners;
• Driving the development of new payment solutions and infrastructure to support business growth and customer experience;
• Investigating and resolving payment discrepancies, chargebacks, and system failures promptly;
• Collaborating cross-functionally with product, finance, legal, and tech teams to ensure smooth payment operations;
• Supporting audit, compliance, and reporting processes related to payment systems and financial controls.

Your skills and experience:

• 5+ years of experience in payments (fintech, banking, or e-commerce), including leadership roles;
• Strong understanding of payment systems, banking operations, and global money flows;
• In-depth knowledge of AML/KYC regulations, PSD2, and other relevant payment legislation;
• Experience with payment service providers, acquirers, and fintech integrations;
• Proven ability to build and lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver measurable results;
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills;
• Fluent Russian, and English at the professional proficiency level or higher.

Nice to have:

• Experience launching or scaling international payment solutions;
• Knowledge of API integrations and payment technologies;
• Previous work in high-growth fintech or digital commerce environments.
