As part of this high-impact M&A integration programme, a key project is unifying 2 x Cloud (AWS) environments, optimising spend, and setting the foundation for a scalable, efficient, and insight-driven cloud future.

We're now looking for a
FinOps Analyst
to be at the heart of it, someone who loves diving into data, spotting optimisation opportunities, and helping engineering and finance speak the same language.

What will your role / responsibilities be?

  • Own cloud financial insights. Analyse usage, forecast spend, and provide clear recommendations to drive cost efficiency across AWS.

  • Partner across teams. Work closely with Cloud Engineering, Finance, and Product to align budgets, improve visibility, and make smarter investment decisions.

  • Optimise & evolve. Identify saving opportunities (RI/SP, rightsizing, storage tiers), benchmark across accounts, and champion FinOps best practice.

  • Shape the future. Support the design of a unified FinOps operating model as we merge two large-scale cloud environments.

  • Drive automation & reporting. Enhance dashboards, streamline chargebacks, and empower teams with real-time insights.

To be considered for this contract, you will offer:

  • Proven experience in Cloud FinOps, Cloud Economics, or AWS Cost Management (ideally in large-scale or multi-account environments).

  • Strong knowledge of AWS cost structures, billing, and optimisation tools (Cost Explorer, CUR, CloudHealth, Cloudability, etc).

  • Confident in data analysis (Excel, SQL, or BI tools) and able to translate numbers into actionable insight.

  • Comfortable navigating complexity, you thrive in change and see clarity where others see chaos.
