Their mission is to bridge traditional capital markets and blockchain technology, creating compliant, secure, and scalable investment structures for institutional and professional investors. The business is well-funded, expanding rapidly, and now looking to appoint a senior legal leader to help define its regulatory and structuring strategy.

We're searching for a
Head of Legal,
a senior strategic position for an experienced lawyer or structuring specialist. This individual will lead all legal, regulatory, and product structuring work across multiple jurisdictions, manage relationships with external counsel and regulators, and act as a key advisor to the leadership team on global compliance and transaction design.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the legal and structuring function across all active jurisdictions in Europe and beyond
  • Oversee regulatory filings, offering documentation, and submissions for structured investment products
  • Coordinate external law firms, ensuring consistent and timely delivery of opinions and approvals
  • Support governance frameworks and act as a director or senior officer for group entities where required
  • Develop and maintain AML/KYC and compliance programs in line with international standards
  • Ensure issuance structures, collateral frameworks, and investor protections are enforceable and resilient
  • Partner with leadership to align business growth, fundraising, and product innovation with legal best practices

Requirements:

  • 7–12 years' experience in capital markets, structured finance, or securitisation (law firm or in-house)
  • Strong understanding of European securities law, investment structuring, and regulatory processes
  • Experience working with digital asset or tokenisation frameworks is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with MiCA, FATF standards, and broader crypto-asset regulation
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-border legal projects and external advisors
  • Eligible and capable of serving as a director of regulated entities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
