Newly PE acquired Engineering Group in North Kent is recruiting a Financial Controller to shape accounting, controls and reporting, under new ownership.

  • Prepare and review monthly submissions under IFRS.
  • Produce monthly analysis on company balance sheet, P&L and forecast performance.
  • Manage statutory accounts and be main liaison for auditors.
  • Lead and upskill the accounting team to drive culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.
  • Implement and develop effective controls and processes.
  • Input design of business software for best practice reporting.
  • Work closely with Treasury on cashflow forecasting and working capital objectives.

This person will take ownership for building a high-quality financial control and accounting function, reporting to senior and external stakeholders, in this heavily invested and scaling mid-size group.

Mostly site-based given the new set up. Up to £120k salary + package.
