Job Overview

This role is 52 weeks of the year - not term-time - To be cleaned between 6pm - 9pm or 7pm - 10pm. Monday to Friday (weekends off). You will be working with three additional cleaners as part of a team. All equipment is left on-site. Due to the location being able to drive and use of your own car to travel to and from is advisible.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning duties in residential or commercial properties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and maintained in good condition.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients promptly.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning tasks.
  • Drive to various locations as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled cleaning appointments.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
  • Valid driving licence is desirable for travel between job sites.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
