The Role
The Programme Procurement Manager will lead the operational delivery of the supply chain strategy, ensuring it aligns with current and future business needs.
You'll shape procurement strategies to meet evolving programme demands, foster commercial value, and build enduring relationships with key suppliers.
Responsibilities will include:
- Establishing project requirements, including those driven by the future bid pipeline.
- Design and engagement of supply chains that meet programme requirements.
- Supporting the delivery of project objectives through the rigorous management of contract and supplier performance.
- Assuring Supplier Performance to time, cost and quality for contract requirements against scope of supplier responsibility.
Essential experience of the Programme Procurement Manager
- Experienced procurement practitioner with deep knowledge of current strategic procurement techniques.
- Extensive experience working in complex project environments and a proven track record of delivering excellent supply chain performance in a dynamic operational environment.
- Deep understanding of contract terms and conditions and the ability to draft subcontract terms including management of flow-down terms from customer contracts.
- Deep understanding of planning and implementing supply arrangements, managing supplier performance and scheduling of deliveries on a global scale.
- Able to work in cross functional teams and manage senior stakeholders in an operational environment.

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role. However, you will be required to obtain Security Check (SC) security clearance once in post.
