Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a comprehensive understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The HVAC Technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues and providing exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems using schematics and diagnostic tools to identify problems accurately.
- Perform equipment repairs as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Lead projects when necessary, guiding junior technicians and ensuring high-quality workmanship throughout the process.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used for inventory management.
- Electrical bias preferable
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems and components.
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC systems.
- Leadership skills to effectively manage projects and mentor junior staff members.
- Experience in equipment repair with a focus on air conditioning units and heating systems.
- Familiarity with maintenance practices for HVAC systems to enhance longevity and efficiency.
- Background in electrical bias will be extremely positive.
