We're partnering with a Higher Education institution based in London to recruit an Income Assistant for their newly restructured team. This role is key to ensuring accurate recording of all income received.

Your duties will include:

  • Manage income receipting, ensuring compliance and accurate daily reconciliations
  • Collect income from overseas offices
  • Reconcile debit and credit card transactions daily
  • Complete monthly bank and tuition fee reconciliations with analysis
  • Process student refunds and liaise with students and support teams
  • Maintain email accounts and respond promptly to payment queries
  • Keep accurate refund records and produce reports

Candidate profile:

  • Background in income management within the Education sector
  • Skilled in handling high-volume, low-value debtor accounts
  • Proficient in data extraction, spreadsheet manipulation, and reconciliations
  • Experienced of working within a customer-focused environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with staff, students, and stakeholders

Hourly rate:
£19.50

Contract type:
interim, full-time

Contract length:
6 months

Location:
London (hybrid working – 1 day in office, 4 days working from home)
