Job Summary

We are seeking a Professional Spray Specialist with a focus on roof and building painting to join our growing team at D P Spraying Ltd. This is a hands-on role where you will specialize in the spray application of coatings on commercial and industrial roofs, cladding, and building exteriors. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience using airless spray equipment, along with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

As a Spray Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards, adhering to health and safety regulations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform spray application of coatings on commercial and industrial roofs, cladding, and building exteriors.
  • Conduct surface preparation activities such as grinding, cleaning using a jet wash, masking, and priming before spraying.
  • Operate and maintain airless spray systems to apply paints, sealants, and other coatings.
  • Work at height using scaffolding or access platforms to ensure safety and proper application.
  • Operate mewps.
  • Travel to various project sites across the UK, including the potential for overnight stays when required.
  • Occasionally work weekends to meet project deadlines and ensure timely project completion.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety procedures and ensure all equipment is used in compliance with regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by maintaining professional relationships and clear communication throughout projects.

Qualifications

  • IPAF certification (for operating access platforms).
  • Knowledge and experience with cladding and roof coating systems.
  • Previous experience working on commercial or industrial projects.
