Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As the Head Server, you will oversee the dining experience, ensuring that all guests receive top-notch service while maintaining a smooth operation within the restaurant. Your leadership skills will be essential in guiding and training staff, enhancing the overall dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the serving team to ensure high standards of service are maintained.
- Greet guests warmly and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently while demonstrating excellent time management skills.
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food preparation and service.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Experience
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and culinary practices.
- Excellent basic maths skills for managing bills and processing payments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in upselling techniques to enhance guest services.
- A genuine passion for helping others and creating memorable dining experiences.

Pay: £16.00-£17.00 per hour
