About the Role:

We are looking for someone to support the Head of Data Protection to provide a high-quality Data Protection Service for 223 schools.

Duties will Include:

  • Being the designated Data Protection Officer for a number of schools across London;
  • Monitoring compliance with Data Protection Legislation, and adoption of core Data Protection principles and requirements;
  • Leading the response to Data Breaches and Data Rights Requests, and responding to any ad hoc Data Protection queries raised by Schools;
  • Delivering training to the School Workforce, and collaborating with other members of the Grow Data Protection Team to ensure that knowledge and skills are shared.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years' experience in Data Protection and Legal Compliance;
  • Good communication skills - written and verbal;
  • Experience in working independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to handle confidential information;
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail;
  • Ethical, with the ability to remain impartial and report on non-compliances;
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
