Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join our team in SE6. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the care and education of children, contributing to their early development and well-being within our nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery.
- Support the planning and implementation of educational activities.
- Foster a safe and engaging environment for children to learn and play.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high-quality childcare.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the nursery setting.
- Observe and document children's development and behavior.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting (not necessary)
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Relevant qualifications in childcare or education are preferred but not mandatory.
