Head Dental Receptionist – Hammersmith, London

We are looking for an experienced Head Receptionist to join our friendly and professional dental team in Hammersmith.

About the Role:

As our Head Receptionist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the front desk. You'll be working closely with the Practice Manager and clinical team to provide outstanding patient care and support the daily operations of a busy mixed NHS and private practice.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing reception operations and supporting the reception team
  • Managing appointments, recalls, and patient communications
  • Assisting the Practice Manager with administrative and compliance tasks
  • Ensuring excellent customer service at all times
  • Handling patient payments and NHS/private processes efficiently

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a dental reception role is essential
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confident using dental software (Dentally or similar)
  • A GDC registration number is preferred but not essential
  • Professional, reliable, and patient-focused

Location: Hammersmith, London

Hours: Full-time (Monday–Friday 8:30-18:00)
