Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Team Manager to champion data-driven transformation within Finance. This role is instrumental in shaping a culture where data and insights drive smarter decision-making, innovation, and operational excellence. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business processes and identify opportunities to leverage data tools for automation, accuracy, and efficiency gains.
Bridging technical expertise and business value, you will lead initiatives that align with organisational priorities, promoting the adoption of advanced analytics and emerging technologies. Your leadership will foster curiosity, experimentation, and continuous improvement, resulting in scalable data products and services with measurable impact. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills are essential, as you will work with senior leaders, operational teams, and external partners to embed data into everyday decision-making. Ultimately, you will transform data into a strategic asset that fuels innovation, enhances performance, and supports our mission of delivering excellence.
This role can be based in either London or Glasgow.
Your role will involve
- Championing a data-first culture through the promotion of self-service analytics and advanced insight capabilities across the organisation.
- Translating business needs into insights by partnering with stakeholders to deliver actionable analytics solutions aligned to business objectives.
- Influencing technology adoption by acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on emerging technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, and automation.
- Driving innovation and scalability through identifying, evaluating, and implementing new tools and methodologies; leading proof-of-concepts and pilots to ensure business value.
- Ensuring governance and continuous improvement. Maintaining compliance with data standards, optimise processes, and stay informed on industry trends and best practices.
These Skills Are Essential
- Track record of driving innovation and change in data and analytics environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Proven experience in creating dashboards and visualisations with data analytics tools, ideally using Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence
- Familiarity with agile delivery and modern data architectures (e.g., cloud computing).
- Proven experience of identifying high-impact use cases and translate business needs into actionable data products and insights
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments, bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver unified data strategies.
