The Role
We are looking for a talented Graduate Developer to join our technical operations, working in a vibrant shared environment, helping their customers with their day-to-day device builds and device lifecycle functions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work and collaborate with our internal Development team to support with the build of internal platforms and tooling.
- Write clean, maintainable code in line with best practices and set guidelines from the Development team.
- Participate in code reviews, planning sessions, and sprints focused on feature delivery.
- Create and maintain clear and detailed documentation, both internal and customer-facing.
- Provide creative input on improving system performance, user experience and automation.
- Assist with troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimisation across different parts of the platform.
- Contribute to team discussions and share ideas for improving development processes.
- Collaborate on front-end and back-end components using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Provide ongoing management and maintenance of internal platforms and tooling developed by Techary.
Essential Skills
Technical Competencies
- Familiarity with modern programming principles, ideally exposure to .NET and related technologies.
- Understanding of API concepts and integrations.
- Willingness to learn automation tools and platforms such as , Power Automate, or similar.
- Exposure to WordPress development and content management.
Tools & Platform Proficiency
- Comfortable using Git/GitHub for version control.
- Familiarity with code editors e.g., Visual Studio, VS Code etc.
- Exposure and familiarity specifically to React and C# would be beneficial.
- Understanding of front-end principles (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is advantageous.
- Willingness to learn new systems, frameworks, and cloud services as required.
Collaboration & Communication
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Organised and eager to grow with in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about technology and proactive in learning and developing technical skills.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant technical field such as:
- Computer Science
- Software Engineering
- Mathematics / Applied Mathematics
- Computer Systems Engineering
- Data Science / Data Engineering
- Other relevant field
