Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical installations and maintenance within commercial settings. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety regulations. The Commercial Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical work is completed to the highest standards, adhering to all relevant codes and regulations.

Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems.
  • Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out electrical installations and repairs.
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or hazards.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing all tasks.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions promptly.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or similar role is essential.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools specific to the electrical trade.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
