A leading global life sciences organization operating across five continents is seeking a Global Director, Process Development Services (PDS). The Process Development Services (PDS) team forms part of the Global Process Development organization, providing deep, cross-functional technical expertise and innovative solutions. The team drives process improvements and supports the development and manufacture of complex therapeutic proteins across a global mammalian manufacturing network.

In this senior role, you will provide global scientific and technical leadership, influence innovation strategy, and serve as a thought leader within the company and across the broader biopharmaceutical industry.

What You Will Do

  • Provide strong technical leadership to support strategic objectives
  • Guide the development of mammalian USP/DSP processes for complex therapeutic proteins
  • Resolve complex technical and scientific challenges while supporting IP and regulatory commitments
  • Manage and support senior Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within the Process Development Sciences team
  • Mentor and develop future SMEs
  • Represent the organization's scientific capabilities in commercial and technical discussions
  • Oversee platform governance for process development across the global mammalian network

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
  • Deep expertise in upstream (USP) or downstream (DSP) process development
  • Strong understanding of regulatory, scientific, and industry trends
  • Proven leadership and management experience in an industrial setting
  • Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities
  • Strategic mindset with the capacity to influence scientific direction
