Ecommerce Content Executive

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented French Speaking Ecommerce Content Executive to join our growing ecommerce team. This role will focus on supporting the creation, coordination, and optimisation of product content across our online platforms. The successful candidate will be part of our Ecommerce Team, as well as work closely with our Copy Team to ensure that all product listings and digital assets are accurate, engaging, and tailored for the French market.
You'll be;
- Collating, proofreading, and uploading product copy in French, ensuring consistency with brand tone of voice.
- Liaising with translation partners and in-house teams to ensure high-quality, localised content.
- Supporting content updates across product categories, seasonal launches, and campaigns.
- Supporting the sourcing and uploading of product imagery, ensuring images meet platform guidelines and brand standards.
- Working with the creative team to brief and coordinate photography needs.
- Ensuring all content (images, copy, attributes) is optimised for ecommerce best practice and customer engagement.
- Completing daily site walks and execute recommendations for improvements to onsite standards and customer journeys.
- Assisting the Ecommerce Manager with site merchandising activities as and when required.
- Maintaining product information accuracy within the CMS/PIM systems.
- Checking product categorisation, tagging, and attributes to maximise discoverability.
- Monitoring stock availability and merchandising alignment with campaign priorities.
- Managing customer reviews ensuring product reviews are up to date.
- Ensuring SEO best practices are incorporated into French product copy and metadata.
- Conducting regular content audits to identify and fix errors or inconsistencies.
- Supporting testing of new content formats and merchandising layouts.
- Partner with marketing and ecommerce teams to align on trading priorities.
- Provide input on content strategy for the French-speaking market.
- Supporting the wider ecommerce initiatives and cross-market projects as required.
You'll have;
- Ideally years' experience working in an Ecommerce Team.
- Native-level French speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Previous experience in ecommerce, content management, or online merchandising.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., BigCommerce, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar).
- An understanding of SEO principles and ecommerce best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with data in Excel/Google Sheets.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- An aptitude for learning ecommerce platform and ERP solutions & appetite to learn about web functionality and web merchandising applying these principles to improve the Jellycat website experience.
Desirable
- Experience working with PIM/DAM systems.
- Basic Photoshop or image editing skills.
- Previous experience in luxury retail, or lifestyle ecommerce.
- Knowledge of performance analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
