Boralexhas been providing renewable and affordable energy for over 30 years. The Group, composed of more than 800 employees, operatesrenewable assets with an installed capacity of over 3 GW and is developing a project portfolio of 6.8 GW in wind, solar, and energy storage.
The FP&A Manager will lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role is critical in providing insights that drive business performance and ensure financial targets are met.
This role will also have line management responsibility for one person but this will evolve as the company grows.
You Will Play An Important Role In
- Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic re-forecasts.
- Develop financial models to support strategic planning and scenario analysis.
- Deliver timely and accurate management reports, including variance analysis and KPIs.
- Provide actionable insights to senior leadership on revenue, costs, and profitability.
- Collaborate with project managers and directors to understand drivers and improve financial performance.
- Support decision-making with data-driven recommendations.
- Enhance FP&A processes, tools, and systems for efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement best practices in financial planning and analysis.
- Play an active role in closing the monthly accounts for each project.
To Succeed In This Position, You Need
- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience.
- Previous experience in an FP&A role is essential.
- The ability to tell the story behind the numbers.
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels especially with colleagues without a finance background.
- Strong analytical and modelling skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
- The ability to prioritise effectively.
- SAP experience preferable but not essential.
- Able to utilise AI tools and PowerBI.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Willingness for occasional travel.
