Salary
£26,850 rising to £29,644 per annum after 5 years' service

West Kent - Sevenoaks
This is a temporary, full time vacancy that will close in 14 days at 09:00 GMT.
The vacancy
We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Complex needs outreach Worker to join our team in West Kent. Based in Sevenoaks, you will be reaching out to people experiencing rough sleeping — often with complex needs such as mental health, substance misuse, or learning disabilities — and support them to find and keep safe accommodation.

The role requires:
- Excellent communication and people skills and experience of working with people who have experienced homelessness, however candidates without this experience / knowledge will still be considered as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
- Excellent partnership working skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
- An understanding of the issues faced by homeless or vulnerably housed people.
- Experience of helping vulnerable and complex people and supporting them through a process of change.
- An understanding of key homelessness legislation
- A sound understanding of the support needs of people who are experiencing homelessness or with low incomes, including rent payments/arrears.
- A commitment to supporting people by helping them to build on their strengths.
- Driver with own transport
Working pattern: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday with some flexibility required.
Contract type: Fixed-Term to March 2026
Interview date: TBC
