Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Dental Hygienist, based in Brighton. The Dental Hygienist will perform routine dental hygiene treatments, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing, while educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. Additional responsibilities include recording accurate dental histories, applying preventive treatments such as sealants and fluoride, and collaborating with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care. This role also involves maintaining sterilization protocols and equipment hygiene to ensure a safe clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in dental hygiene techniques, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing
• Strong knowledge of oral health education and preventive care strategies
• Ability to maintain detailed and accurate patient records
• Familiarity with infection control procedures and sterilization practices
• Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills
• Collaborative mindset to work effectively with a dental care team
• Current certification or licensure as a Dental Hygienist
• CPR certification is a plus
