Overview

We are seeking 3 x talented and innovative Structural Designers to join our dynamic team for a 2 month project.

The ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of structural design principles and be proficient in various design software. This role involves creating detailed designs and schematics for a variety of projects, ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and client specifications. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineers withing the Engineering Department

Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce detailed structural designs using software such as AutoCAD, Inventor
  • Prepare construction documents, including schematics and system designs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
  • Engage in the review process of designs to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies relevant to structural design.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, Inventor or similar
  • Strong understanding of CAD principles and construction methodologies.
  • Experience in creating detailed schematics and system designs is highly desirable.
  • A background in graphic design is an advantage but not essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
  • Relevant qualifications in Structural Design or a related field are preferred.

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 2 months

Pay: £30.00-£35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39.5 per week
