The Role:
To assist with our growth plans, we are currently recruiting for a 3 & 5 Axis Mill Programmer to work within our components manufacturing division. This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled 5-Axis Mill Programmer to join our thriving precision engineering company and utilize their skillset to its fullest potential.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
· Produce Programs using CadCam Software for 5 Axis CNC Milling Machine
· Setting and Operating a 5 Axis CNC Mill to produce Machined Components
· Inspect finished work against technical engineering drawings and data supplied, ensuring that specifications and quality standards (in line with ISO: accreditation) are met
· In process inspection of goods and carrying out quality checks in line with our internal quality system
· Working to set efficiency targets
· Operating in line with company health & safety policy relative to the workshop environment
· Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
· Maintain good housekeeping & safe working environment
· Willingness to be flexible in accordance with the business needs
· Any other duties, within reason & capability, as determined by team leader
Essential Criteria:
· Minimum of 3 years' experience in a 5 Axis CNC Setting / Programming role (Fanuc Controls)
· Meticulous quality inspection skills particularly in relation to the manufacturing of precision components
· ISO familiarisation, particularly in relation to quality standards adherence
· Computer literate with experience in the use of MRP systems
· Competent in the use of a wide range of workshop machinery
· Excellent problem solving
· Sound communication skills both verbal and written
· Strong understanding and appreciation of H & S within the workplace
Desirable Criteria:
· 5 years' + experience working in a similar role
· Strong Experience in Programming using CADCAM Software.
· Strong experience in the use of G-Code
· Familiarisation with Fanuc control systems
· People management & training experience
· Precision engineering experience
· Engineering qualification (CNC specialism)
· Automation experience would be advantageous

Hours of Work:
Day Shift
Monday – Thursday: 07:30-16:30
Friday: 07:30-13:30
Evening Shift
Monday to Thursday 16:45pm to 03:15am
Friday Off
