Are you experienced in providing intensive support to young people affected by homelessness? Are you passionate about holistic person-centred practice and helping people achieve their goals through trauma informed practice? As an Intensive Support Worker, you will be supporting people transitioning into independent living within their local communities and providing practical support in all aspects of everyday living including emotional/therapeutic support when required. A key part of the role will be to ensure trust is developed with each individual and that you are a reliable, consistent support to the young people to allow them to gain a sense of security and resilience.
There is no supervisory responsibility in this role.
Working pattern: This secondment offers 39 hours per week on an 8-week rolling rota. Shifts are a mix of 8am–4pm & 2pm–10pm, working 4 weekends out of 8.
Overnight telephone support is in place, which can offer extra earning potential.
