Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Bench General Manager located in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Bench General Manager will be responsible for overseeing restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service and food quality, and driving team performance to deliver an excellent guest experience. Key responsibilities include staff management, training, inventory control, financial performance, compliance with health and safety standards, and fostering a positive team environment aligned with Wahaca's values. This role may also involve supporting multiple restaurant locations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Leadership and team management skills, including the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Operational management experience, including inventory control and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to oversee day-to-day restaurant operations effectively.
  • Customer service experience, with a focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for team collaboration and guest interaction.
  • Proficiency in financial management, including analyzing reports and meeting budgetary goals.
  • Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant management is highly desirable.
  • Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
