HEALTHCARE ASSISTANTS DAY SHIFTS/NIGHT SHIFTS FULL-TIME or PART-TIME Job location: Eastington, GL10 Nursing Home in Eastington an award-winning 75-bed care centre specialising in residential dementia, nursing dementia and nursing care. Nurses and carers provide elderly care, end of life care, respite care and day care. Set in a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian country house, the staff are encouraged to train and develop in various areas, including NVQ level 2 through to RGN and RMN. Our staff have helped us achieve numerous awards over the years including the Role-4-all Equality & Diversity Award and can also speak a variety of languages. There are five acres of parkland on the fringes of the Cotswolds to enjoy and the site is easy to access, just off junction 13 of the M5. Our home is divided into three units: Adelaide, Victoria and Hardwicke all of which provide nursing and personal care. We are not able to support applications that require sponsorship. We are only able to accept applicants who have the right to work in the Uk and live within a commutable distance to the location of the job role and able to work minimum 22 hours per week Successful applicants, will have minimum 6 months experience preferably in a similar role. Salary: £12.80 per hour Key Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.Support healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care.Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.Help patients with mobility and physical activities as required.Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.Assist with the administration of medication under supervision. Requirements Experience in a similar role in the UK is desirableRight to work in the UK- no sponsorship providedStrong communication skillsAbility to follow care plans effectively,Ability to communicate effectively at all levelsExperience in providing care in a home care settingProficiency in English and basic IT skillsPrior experience in a care home environmentTeam playerAbility to work on own initiativeA caring and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.Basic knowledge of healthcare and medical terminology.Relevant certifications such as an NVQ in Health and Social Care are beneficial.Flexibility in working hours and the ability to adapt to different healthcare settings.
