About Us Since starting in Perth in 2012, CMW Geosciences has expanded to 19 business units with over 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate Geotech professionals, providing quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction, infrastructure, mining and energy sectors. Our North Queensland team in Australia is looking to bring on a Senior or Associate Geotechnical Engineer, subject to experience. Key responsibilities include managing client relationships, assisting with business development, proposal writing, mentoring junior engineers and providing Construction Phase support. The successful candidate will also have experience with temporary works. This position can be based in Townsville, Rockhampton or Mackay in Australia. What You'll Need A Civil Engineering or Geology DegreeMinimum of 6 years' experience, preferably in a geotechnical consultancyDemonstrable experience in the preparation and review of written technical reports and client communicationsProven experience in geotechnical design within rock and soilAbility to mentor junior engineers in the teamExperience with Construction Phase Support and Temporary worksGood interpersonal skillsA full drivers licenseExceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written What You'll Get Additional Day Leave on your BirthdayProvision of minimum of 50 hours Training / CPD per year and paid membership to Engineers AustraliaOffice social events throughout the yearFlexible office hoursOngoing internal project management and technical trainings
