Steel Fabricator

We are currently hiring Steel Fabricators for an industry leader in UK’s Building Services sector. This opportunity has the potential for successful candidates to develop and retain further skills within numerous welding, fabrication, and preparation disciplines. Hours: Monday-Thursday 07:00-17:00 Friday 07:00-16:00 (44 hours).Rate: Competitive rates - Dependent on experience with OT available at 1.5 Job Summary:To weld a range of pipe configurations while applying various methods to produce high quality welds.  Key Responsibilities:Fabricate and weld pipe sets for various diameters, typically carbon steel and stainless steel (65mm - 500mm).Read and understand the pipe fabrication drawings for each project.Ensure company welding procedures are adhered to and pipe preparation and fit up is carried out to the correct standard.Complete Cross Training in various welding activities.Ensure Company H&S Processes followed.Use precision measurement instruments and metal cutting and grinding equipment.General workshop duties.  Requirements:Essential:Experience working as a fabricator welder in Pipe Fabrication and Welding.The ability to interpret welding procedure requirements.Able to use Shop floor hand tools.Confident in understanding shop fabrication and assembly drawings.Desirable:Heavy or structural Fabrication experience Experience fabricating a wide range of pipe arrangements with TIG/MAG and able to use MMA.  What's in it for you?Many benefits including full in-house training and career development opportunities, competitive pension scheme, life assurance scheme, health cash plan, full access to smart wellbeing platform, annual flu vaccine, free annual health check during working hours, annual leave increasing in line with length of service, lavish Long service awards, annual Christmas raffle, yearly allowance for company branded clothing merchandise, secure free onsite parking, dedicated departmental budget allocated annually for team building events during working hours, friendly and supportive working environment. Please apply with a copy of your CV today and a member of the team will be in touch.  About TRCGroup: We break the mould when it comes to recruitment agencies.
