The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Glasgow area. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.Hours: Shifts across Monday to Sunday (drivers must be required to do weekends)Full TimePart Time / AD-HOCWeekendsPay Rate: £18.15 to £26.25 per hour PAYE.Location: Glasgow (G32)Job Type: OngoingThe role:The role (please note there can be different types of runs for this position):Split Shifts: starts from 15:30pm - 18:30pm - driver will be required to go from depot to Carlisle with a loaded trailer, once arrived, driver will then got the the truck stop for their rest (nightout and meal allowance added)Night Trunks: start times from 20:00pm - drivers will start from depot and go to Carlisle and then take a loaded trailer back into Scotland.Day Trunks: Start from 00:00am - drivers will cover trunks to Abedeen/Inverness/ CarlisleDouble Manned Crews - starts from 12pm - 7pm - 2 drivers will trunk to the Hubs.Requirements:Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).Have at least 6 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).Less than 12 infringement points in any one month and no infringement points for three consecutive months.Flexibility to work shifts across Monday to Sunday with start times from 12 pm - 9 pm (all paid at night rate).Ability to travel to local site for tacho card download prior to being put forward.Full understanding of WTD legislation.Excellent communication skills.A safety-first mindset.For more information, please apply directly with a copy of your CV today and a member of our team will be in touch About TRCGroup: We break the mould when it comes to recruitment agencies.
