Ratio Law places a strong emphasis on bridging and property conveyancing, working with a network of lenders, brokers, developers, and high-net-worth individuals. Their culture is dynamic, growth-oriented, and collaborative, with a strong focus on expanding their bridging division.Role Overview:Handle an active and technically demanding bridging finance caseload, including residential and commercial bridging transactions.Advise on loan documentation, security arrangements, and risk matters.Perform legal due diligence, title searches, and Land Registry investigations.Negotiate, draft, and review loan agreements, security deeds, and supporting documentation.Work closely with lenders, brokers, clients, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless service.Mitigate risk by providing thorough property finance advice, including AML and regulatory compliance.Support business development by identifying and converting new opportunities within the bridging space.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of bridging market trends, property law developments, and lender practices.Experience / Skills Required:Minimum of 5 years’ PQE as a qualified solicitor (England & Wales).Proven experience in property conveyancing, ideally with a strong focus on bridging or secured lending.Excellent transactional and drafting skills, particularly relating to loan and security documentation.Strong negotiation, risk-assessment, and due diligence expertise.Solid commercial awareness within property finance.Outstanding organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.Confidence using practice management systems and modern conveyancing technology.What’s On Offer:Competitive salary (experience dependent).Performance-based incentives / bonus structure.Hybrid working (Manchester HQ + remote flexibility).Ongoing professional development and training opportunities.The chance to grow within Ratio Law’s bridging finance team and work on high-value transactions.Supportive, entrepreneurial working culture with genuine progression potential.
