Gas Engineering (ACS) Tutor/AssessorJob Title: Gas Engineering Tutor/AssessorLocation: Croydon, United Kingdom (CR0 9UG)Position Type: Part-Time (3 days per week, 9am-4pm)Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Gas Engineering & ACS Assessor/Tutor to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality education and training on the Blueflame Managed Learning Programme and City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Gas Engineering course. The successful candidate will have a strong background in gas engineering and will be responsible for assessing and teaching students in various aspects of gas engineering, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulations.Our certification bodies include Blueflame Certification & City and Guilds.For more information about our Gas Training and Assessment Centre, please visit: https://bocktraining.com/Key Responsibilities:Assessment and Evaluation: Assess and evaluate students' practical and theoretical knowledge in gas engineering, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.Instruction and Training: Deliver engaging and informative training sessions to students, covering topics such as gas safety, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and improvement of the Gas Engineering course curriculum to ensure its relevance and alignment with industry requirements.Individualised Support: Provide individualised support and guidance to students, addressing their specific learning needs and helping them achieve their educational goals.Safety Compliance: Emphasise the importance of safety in gas engineering work and ensure that students are well-versed in safety protocols and best practices.Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, assessment results, and attendance.Stay Informed: Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in the gas engineering field to provide the most relevant education.Student Feedback: Collect and provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills and knowledge.Qualifications:Level 3 Diploma in Gas Engineering or equivalent qualification.Gas Safe Registration (or equivalent certification).Proven experience as a gas engineer in the industry.Previous experience in teaching, training, or assessing in a similar educational setting is desirable.Excellent knowledge of gas engineering regulations and safety standards.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse student needs.Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.Benefits:Competitive salary.Professional development opportunities.Access to cutting-edge gas engineering equipment and facilities.Collaborative and supportive work environment.If you do not have formal assessor qualifications ie.
